Leadership
President & Founder Mr. Bharwani founded Nikish Software in 1984 with the vision to provide elegant yet powerful tax solutions to local governing bodies. Having implemented systems for over 25 years, Mr. Bharwani is incredibly well-versed in all facets of systems deployment: requirements definition, system architecture, software development, quality assurance, data conversion and training. He has served local governments in full life-cycle deployment of Property Tax and CAMA Systems for residential and commercial properties. Mr. Bharwani is responsible for the company's strategy and overall business direction. Prior to founding Nikish Software, Mr. Bharwani served as Vice President of Goldman Sachs & Company where he was responsible for deploying PeopleSoft globally, and was a consultant to other Wall Street companies including Morgan Stanley, UBS (Warburg Dillon Reed) and Siemens. Mr. Bharwani is an active member of Team Consulting, and tax and appraisal consortium.
Chief Technology Officer Mr. Tucci is a software and technology professional with 13 years of experience in management and architecture of large-scale marketable software for web and mobile platforms. Mr. Tucci joined Nikish Software in 2008 and is responsible for the company's strategic technology direction and acts as the chief application architect for Nikish Software's RMS product. Prior to joining Nikish Software, Mr. Tucci served as Chief Technology Officer at Votago LLC, where he had managed the engineering and marketing for the company's electronic health record software product. Mr. Tucci has also held various engineering and management roles at GTV, Aether Systems, Broadview Networks, and American Home Mortgage.
Vice President, Software Development Mr. Friers is a software professional with 8 years of experience in the development and management of large scale engineering projects. Mr. Friers joined Nikish Software in 2008 and is responsible for the company's software development division and acts chief data tier architect for Nikish Software's RMS product. Prior to joining Nikish Software, Mr. Friers worked in the engineering division Lockheed Martin where he has held various levels of government security clearances . Mr. Friers has worked on numerous projects requiring DOD security clearances and has participated in various integral roles in those projects. Mr. Friers holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Syracuse University.
Vice President, Support Services Mr. Quick is a 35 year career professional in engineering, systems management, project management, and sales management in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Quick joined Nikish Software in 2007 and is responsible for the company's support services division. Prior to joining Nikish Software, Mr. Quick worked at Manatron where he was the project manager for the installation of the Manatron MVP Tax System in Licking, Columbiana, Champaign, Delaware and Cuyahoga Counties in Ohio. Mr. Quick has also assisted in the installation and conversion projects for several other Manatron Tax Systems in Ohio and was a salesman for the Manatron REALM, Courts, and Child Support Systems in Ohio.
Manager, Indiana Services Mr. Rivas is a software professional with over 13 years of experience in the management and development of financial systems. Mr. Rivas joined Nikish Software in 2002 and is responsible for the company's Indiana division and the management of all legacy software. Prior to joining Nikish Software, Mr. Rivas has held various engineering and management roles at Thinkers Group, Quintext Mobile Communications, and FreeGate.
